Personal Background

I was born in New Hartford, New York and lived there until I headed off to SUNY Albany for college. After college, I couldn't take the cold anymore so I saved up some money and moved to Wilmington, North Carolina to go to graduate school in English. I lived in Wilmington for 4 years and then moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to work at NCSU and go get my MLS degree. I lived in Raleigh, for yet another four years, and then when I graduated from NCCU, I interviewed and got a job at the University of Georgia. I lived in Athens from September 1999 to September 2006. Yes, I moved there for the music scene. However, in 2006 I decided to come back to the Tar Heel State for a little while. So, I moved back to North Carolina in September 2006 and worked at UNC-Chapel Hill until September 2008. September 2008 saw me move back to work at the University of Georgia. I am the Data Services & Business Reference Librarian for UGA and I love living in Athens, Georgia. Go Dawgs!
